 SERVICE MODE FACTORY RESET AND POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT 

Entering and exiting the adjustment process mode
1. 
Press the "POWER"key on the set of running TV set to force off the power.
2. While holding
down the “VOL(-)”and”MENU” keys on the set at once, Press the "POWER"key on the set
to turn on the power. The letter K appears on the screen.
3. Next, hold down the “VOL(-)”and ”P( DOWN  )” keys on the set at once.
Multiple lines of orange characters appearing on the screen indicate that the set is now in the adjustment Process mode. If you fail to enter the adjustment process mode (the display is the same as normal startup), retry the procedure.
4. To exit the adjustment process mode after the adjustment is done, unplug the AC power cord to force off the power. (When the power is turned off with the remote controller, once unplug the AC power cord and plug it in again. In this case, wait 10 seconds or so before plugging.)
5. 
To remove "K" mode, just repeat step1 and 2. This time the letter "K" disappears from screen.
Inch Setting
Enter the adjustment process mode.
Move the cursor to [INCH SETTING] on page 2/13.
Use the R/C key to select a inch size from [46/52] and press the [OK] key.
“EXECUTING” display appears .
After a while,"OK" display appears, the setting is completed.
White Balance Adjustment
Adjustment gradation values (IN) appear on page 7/13 of process adjustment, and adjustment initial values(offset value)

1. Display the current adjustment status at point 6
The display for checking the adjustment status is toggled by pressing the “6” button on the remote control.
(Normal OSD display > “6” > display for check (OSD disappears) > “6” > normal OSD display > . . . )
2. Read the value of the luminance meter. x=0.272 , y =0.277
3. Change MGAMMA R6/MGAMMA B6 (Adjustment offset value) on page 9/13 of process adjustment so that the values of the luminance meter approach x=0.272 and y =0.277.
(Basically, G is not changed. If adjustment fails with R and B, change G. When G is lowered, the weaker of R and B must be fixed.)
4. Display the adjustment status of the current point 5. (Each time the “5” button on the remote control is pressed, the adjustment status check display is toggled.)
(Normal OSD display > “5” > Check display (OSD disappears) > “5” >Normal OSD display >  . . . )
Change M GAMMA R5/M GAMMA B5 (adjustment offset value) on page 9/13 of process adjustment so that the values of the luminance meter approach x = 0.272 and y = 0.277.
5. Repeat step 4) for points 4, 3, 2, and 1.

Initialization to factory settings

Move the cursor to [Factory Init] on page 2/13.
Use the R/C key to select a region from
[EURO/UK/ITALY/FRANCE/RUSSIA]and press the [OK] key.
“EXECUTING” display appears .
After a while,"OK" display appears, the setting is completed.

Enter the adjustment process mode.
Push a remote controller code of each destination. (See below )
It automatically becomes in the process adjustment menu (INIT) and change FACTORY INIT becomes "EXECUTING" display.
 After a while, "OK" display appears, the setting is completed.

Lamp error detection
This LCD color TV set incorporates a lamp error detection feature that automatically turns off the power for safety under abnormal lamp or lamp circuit conditions. If by any chance anything is wrong with the lamp or lamp circuit or if the lamp error detection feature is activated for some reason, the following will result.
i) The power is interrupted in about 6 seconds after it is turned on.
(The power LED on the front of the TV set turns red from green and keeps blinking in red: ON for 250 ms and OFF for 1 sec). ii) If the above phenomenon i) occurs 5 times consecutively, it becomes impossible to turn on the power. (The power LED remained red).
Measures
i) Checking with lamp error detection OFF
Enter the adjustment process mode, referring to "3. Entering and exiting the adjustment process mode."
If there is a problem with the lamp or lamp circuit, the lamp will go out. (The power LED is green.)
Then, you can check the operation to see if the lamp and lamp circuit are in trouble.
ii) Resetting the lamp error count
After the lamp and lamp circuit are found out of trouble, reset the lamp error count. If a lamp error is detected five consecutive times, the power cannot be turned on. Using the cursor (UP/DOWN) key, move to the cursor to [L ERR RESET], Line 6 on adjustment process mode service page 10/13. With the cursor (LEFT/RIGHT) keys, select the [L ERR RESET] value. Finally press the cursor (OK) keys to reset the value to "0". Reset to "0 "
Public Mode
1. How to enter Public mode
Enter the adjustment process mode, referring to "3.Entering and exiting the adjustment process mode". In the[INIT],page2/13 of service, turns on the PUBLIC MODE option.
Turn off TV by pressing "Power button" of TV unit.
Press "Power button" of TV unit and then press "V-" of RC and "V-" of TV at the same time during the switch-on action (before the screen is displayed)
