SERVICE MODE AND TROUBLESHOOTING
Troubleshooting
1. Check the various cable connections first.
Check to see if there is a burnt or damaged cable.
Check to see if there is a disconnected cable connection or a connection is too loose.
Check to see if the cables are connected according to the connection diagram.
2. Check the power input to the Main Board.
3. Check the voltage in and out between the SMPS <> Main Board, between the SMPS<> INVERTER Board, and between the Main LVDS Boards
Check to see if there is a burnt or damaged cable.

No Power
LAMP off, power indicator LED red color? > Check

Does proper DC 12V, DC 5V appear at CN101?
> Change a Assy PCB Power.
Does proper DC A3.3V, A5V appear at C126, C127?
> Check a IC104, Q104. Change a main PCB ass'y.
Does proper DC 12V, 9V, 3.3V, 2.5V, 1.8V
appear at C109, C105, C132, C145, C159 ? > Check a IC102_CPT, IC101, IC105,
IC106, IC109. Change a main PCB ass'y
No Video (Analog PC)
Check a PC source and check the connection of
DSUB cable? > Input a analog PC signal and connected cable(DPMS).
Does the signal appear at C313, C316, C320
near IC602? > PC cable. Change a PC cable. Change a main PCB ass'y.
Does the digital data appear at the output of LVDS
(R716, 717, 719~726)? > Check a IC602
Change a main PCB ass'y.
Check a LVDS cable? Replace a lcd panel?
No Video (Digital-HDMI)
Check the connection of HDMI cable? > Input
a HDMI cable.
Does the digital data appear at R738~R745?
> Check a a IC602 Change a main PCB ass'y.
Does the digital data appear at output of
IC602 LVDS(R716, 717, 719~726)? > Check a IC602 Change a main PCB ass'y.
Check a LVDS cable? Replace lcd panel?
No Picture (Tuner_CVBS)
Dose the signal appear at R126? > Check a
B+ voltage (#6 of Tuner) 5V, change a main PCB ass'y
Does the signal appear at C611 near IC602?
> Change a main PCB ass'y.
Does the digital data appear at output of R716,
717, 719~726? > Check a IC602. Change a main PCB ass'y.
Check a LVDS cable? Replacea lcd panel?
No Picture (Video_CVBS)
Does the signal appear at C614 near IC602?
> Check a connection harness.
Does the signal appear at Out of IC602 R716,
717, 719~726? > Check a IC602. Change a main PCB ass'y
Check a LVDS cable? Replace lcd panel?
No Sound
Does the signal appear at Pin #8, #14(CH1_L, R
Sound) and Pin #29, #35 (CH2_L, R Sound) of IC806? >Check a connection
harness and headphone jack / Side AV.
Check the DC 12V of IC806? > Check a IC806 Change
a main PCB ass'y.
Does the signal appear at L802~L805? > Change
a main PCB ass'y.
Entering Factory Mode
To enter to service mode press the remote keys
in the following sequence
Power OFF > INFO > MENU > MUTE > Power ON
If you have Factory remote – control
PICTURE ON > DISPLAY > FACTORY

Method of Adjustment
1. Adjust the white balance of AV, Component and DVI Modes.

a) Set the input to the mode in which the adjustment will be made
(RF > DTV > PC > DVI).
