How to setup Wi-Fi connection on sony LCD -LED TV 

The Wi-Fi Direct mode provides direct wireless connectivity without having to use the access point of a wireless network router. Devices that are Wi-Fi Direct compatible can send pictures or music wirelessly directly to the TV.
IMPORTANT:
1.TV and laptop may require the latest system software (firmware) update to activate the Wi-Fi Direct feature.
2.The Wi-Fi Direct feature is not available on all Sony products
3.To see if your product supports the Wi-Fi Direct feature, check the specifications.
4.Some functions may not be available, depending on the products you are using.
5.Some functions may not be available on some regions/countries.

FOLLOW THE PROCEDURE TO SETUP Wi-Fi CONNECTIVITY 
A. Enable the Built-in Wi-Fi setting on your TV.
1.On the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
2.Select Settings.

NOTE: The appearance of the Home menu may be different depending to the TV or personalized settings.
3.Select System Settings or Network.
NOTE: If the TV shows Network, skip to step 6.
4.Select Setup.
5.Select Wi-Fi Setup.
6.Select Built-in Wi-Fi.

7.Select ON.
B.Turn on the Wi-Fi Direct setting of the TV.
1.On the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
2.Select Settings.
3.Select System Settings or Network.
NOTE: If the TV shows Network, skip to step 6.
4.Select Setup.
5.Select Wi-Fi Setup.
6.Select Wi-Fi Direct.

7.Select ON.
C.Display the WPA key of the TV.
1.On the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
2.Select Settings.
3.Select System Settings or Network.
NOTE: If the TV shows Network, skip to step 6.
4.Select Setup.
5.Select Wi-Fi Setup.
6.Select Wi-Fi Direct Settings.

7. Press the Options button.

8. Select Manual.
9. Select Other Method.

NOTE: The SSID and the WPA key will be displayed on the TV screen.

10.On the Wi-Fi setting of the Wi-Fi Direct device, select the SSID of the TV and enter the WPA key displayed on the TV screen as the password.
